It's a Great Day to be a Dragon!

Hi everyone! I hope things are going well for all of you! Today is my last first day of school! I'm pretty excited about it and about graduating in the spring (hopefully)! My last two semesters are by no means going to be easy, all of my classes are 300 level and above! But it will all be worth it by May 16, 2009! Here are the classes I will be taking:
Philosophy 312: Business Ethics
Management 380: Operations Management
Management 440: Personnel Management
Management 456: Project Management in Business
Management 480: Management Science
The good news is that I only have one class on Friday's, so I will be able to catch up on Fridays (hopefully)! Well, I better get going, I just thought I'd give you all a quick update!

My Chucky Bear
This is a picture of Chuck on the first day we got him. It's hard to believe he was just a little bigger than an ice cream bucket. I'm sure that's where his love of ice cream first came from. He was so tiny back then, and it's so funny to think how big he got.
This is probably my favorite picture of Chuck. I will always miss him and think of how he always made me feel happy and made me laugh. He was such a big part of my family for most of my life. He always was doing something funny or strange and he knew just how to get his way. I always remember the face he got, he really did have a unique personality. There is no other dog quite like Chuck, and I will never forget him!

Gaede Stage

The young, daring cellist was here in 2006 and "bowed" you over, at Festival Hall with the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony, and at a wild, informal performance at the Green Market. Now he’s joined by the elegant and passionate violin virtuoso Andy Simonescu.
WonderlandMSUM’s fall children’s theatre production uses familiar characters and settings from Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. However, for the three American school children who find themselves lost and in trouble, the adventure is all new.

The Compleat Female Stage Beauty (Regional Premier)In 1661 the most famous portrayer of females on the London stage was Kynaston. Kynaston’s world is turned upside-down, until fate gives him a chance to take the stage again.

The Producers
1959. New York City. Max Bialystock, the once King of Broadway, is now an out-of-luck producer looking to make a buck. Winner of a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards in 2001, The Producers is filled with outrageous characters and show stopping musical numbers.

James Sewell BalletHansen Theatre--May 2, 2009
Not your normal ballet company. You will laugh. You will wonder. You will enjoy. "The appeal of Sewell’s company is…that his reverence for ballet is balanced by his eagerness to spoof it and his urge to explore outside its safe boundaries." (Dance Magazine)

Global Warming? Really?
This is the image I woke up to this morning on my computer. Today is July 3, and it is, apparently, 48 degrees Fahrenheit, not Celsius (that would be another story I guess)! On Tuesday, it was around 90 here in Fargo, not it has dropped about 40 degrees in two days. I guess I really shouldn't be surprised, this is the weird North Dakota / Minnesota weather. Hopefully it warms up soon though!

A New Place
So, sorry that it has been a while! I've been really busy. My finals went well, then I started work for the Straw Hat Players right after finals were over. Work has been going well, just very busy! Two weeks after straw hat started, I started classes. I am taking 2 classes this summer, Management Information Systems and Financial Management. My classes are pretty interesting. Just last week, at work we had our Straw Hat Players 45th reunion and alumni show. It was a very busy week again! My boss from Kmart was on vacation, so I had to work 21 hours at kmart, I worked 17 hours at the box office and I had 18 hours of class! But I made it through the week, and hopefully I wont have another week like that for a while.
Next week Straw Hat officially begins. We are starting out with Jesus Christ Superstar, then Beehive, the 60s musical, A Midsummer Night's Dream, How I Learned to Drive, and then we are finishing with Grease!
Well, I am off to bed, hopefully I will catch up on my rest so I can be prepared for the rest of my busy summer!
